Picked up my 31 Spline explorer carrier tonight, and was test fitting a drivers side explorer axle in a mustang 8.8.... and it doesnt FIT!:mad:
Waaaayy too big around where the bearing rides on the axle... and also the axle shaft was a little too long... So this leads me to wonder... What Axles do I need to 5-lug with a 31 spline center section??? is my ONLY option aftermarket???
I freakin hope not, I was hoping to do this on the cheap (being without a job) So I can get the car back on the ground and rolling
If anyone has any Ideas or suggestions I would appreciate your input
