I get the car and driver a bit more sorted out and I'm sure I'll join you at a few of the 6.50 races.

thats why i like to go on race day on sunday, track is always prepped way better

i cut 1.49 last year in my shelby which was probably 4100-4200 lbs with me in it,

street class is cheap if you want 1/4 mile, down side is you only get 3 passes, 2 qualifying and first round (you can't dial any faster than 12.0), so your gonna break out

Well I emailed Tri-state this week. Here is what I got back

HERE'S THE "SCOOP" THE TRACK HAD BEEN SCRAPED THE WEEK BEFORE THIS PAST SATURDAY. HE SAID IT TAKES A FEW CARS DOWN THE TRACK AFTER SCRAPING TO BRING THE TRACK "BACK IN", EVEN THOUGH IT IS PREPPED THE PROPER WAY.

So basically they scrapped the track before t&t on the 14th...with the weather they haven't gotten alot of car down the track to put a fresh coat of rubber down on the track. So hopefully it will be back to normal with in a week or 2. Edgewater does the same thing at the start of every season.
