I decided to get away from building another mustang for awhile (I still own my 06 GT). and build a Thunderbird.
I picked this up today for the best price! FREE!
It is a 1965 Thunderbird.

It still has the original 390 in it with 85,xxx on it. The car has some issues but all in all I think she is rebuildable. The car came with the original license plate from 65'.
First job I will tackle as soon as I build my shed is pull it in the garage and start stripping all the chrome off and sanding it down.

I will be collecting parts so if anyone has anything let me know or if they know of a good place to start checking out parts at. I want to replace both quarters, fenders, and probably the door skins as well. I am going to yank the motor and have it cleaned, magnafluxed, and honed. I am going to do the rebuild with my Dad and my father-in law.

Family projects are the best. Good luck and have fun with it.
