WTF... I hate two faced motherfukers!!!!!

Short and simply, there is a local website here in KC that has cross members with my site and theirs. Well they all come over to my site, read and sometimes post even show up at the events/meetings that I host from my site and then go back to this other site and say lies, untruths and just crap all over me and my site. I mean some really hateful stuff is being said about me there, I have admit that I go over to read "lurk" what is being said, I know I shouldn't but I do, I see who says what about me... but I have never once replied to there lies as I don't want them to know I have a account to their site and have access to what they post about myself and my site.

I once was an active member over on their website, and then one day I got banned from the site (remember, I had never once replied to any of their negative posts where they crapped on me or my site) because I pissed off one of the co-admins on my site and I asked him to leave as he keep coming over to my site and starting problems. I finally had to put a temporary ban on him to keep him from coming over and doing nothing but starting problems on my site. They even wanted to buy my site, I told them oh hell no! That's when all the crap started on me. This has been going on over a year or two now, what I don't get is why...? If my site sucks so back and they don't like me or how I run it, why the fuk do they keep coming back?

I know who these people are and when I see them face to face they act like there is nothing wrong and they have never said anything bad about me or the site. I am lost on what to do about this, part of me wants to just say FU to them and ban them form the site forever. The other side of me says to just not even let them know it's pissing me off and that it's even getting to me.

Friends I ask around me say don't even let them know that I know what they’re saying about me, and to not worry about what others say about me on other websites.

I am not looking to start an online war here but I just don't really know what to do... anyone have any thoughts on this matter? This whole matter just makes me mad that they can't act like adults and just grow up. I just tired of this stupid issue and them slamming on me and my website. It just keeps popping back up ever couple of months and it's only from this one website which has shared members.

While I've never had this exact situation happen to me, I've gotten a little bit "too involved" with another website and similar type drama was starting to occur. It was at that point I realized that it's just the internet and that maybe I should take a break from it all. Now, I realize your situation is different since it's your site and you can't exactly just walk away...but it's a thought

The ban button works well....or maybe use one of the other vB add-ons to mess with them till they decide to leave.

It depends on several things.... Do you run your site as a business? If so, is it hurting your business? If it's just personal, I'd recommend always taking the high road. Be the guy that, when these lies get told about you, people will say... "Not that guy, I know him and he's a pretty stand up guy." Of course, I don't really know the nature of the trouble they're causing. Let the assholes be assholes, and people will know them as assholes. If they're disrupting your business, quietly take care of business.
