hood clearance

here's my problem now

i did a 351 swap in a fox ,with vic jr spyder intake

i have a hood with about a 2.5 in scoop,but the throtle body still hits on the passenger side

what is the cure hellllllllllllllpppppppppp

What mounts are you running? HPM makes a set of "drop" mounts, they will lower the engine about 3/4 to 7/8.

They say convertible mounts sit lower than standard 86-89 coupe/hatch mounts.

An aftermarket k-member can also give you some drop.
