I would like to convert but it seems like it would be way to much money:o

unless you already have bigger injectors or fuel pump.

It is only really worth messing with if you need a 100+ octane fuel to get the most out of your combination. Like if you have a 11:1+ compression/boost/nitrous combo where you have to mix in race gas at the track...or have to sacrafice some hp by running less timing. I only run it since I run nitrous most of the time at the track now. Keeps me from having to find/get 110 lead race gas to mix in with pump 93 every time I go to the track.

I filled up last time with it for $3.36 when regular was $4.09.

I got 15 mpg as opposed to 17mpg.

E85 Price Cost per mile: $0.224
Miles per dollar: 4.464

Gas Price Cost per mile: $0.241
Miles per dollar: 4.156

Saved me a little money.
I see pros and cons to the E85 stuff. My Explorer is Flex Fuel so as long as it's 60 cents cheaper I come out on top. If not I will just stick to regular.

But much more added benefits can be added to the performance world than a simple miles per dollar calculation that I ran.

I've been interested in it for a while. I'm considering building my Formula to run on both pump gas an E85 with different programs. That way I can still participate in the Pump Gas Drags whenever I get the car done. I love the potential with E85 and I plan on taking advantage of some cheap high octane fuel!

My turbo build, when it's done, will be running E85.

Dayton 5.0 is tuning it.

E85 not worth it on east side of town.

Mariemont Marathon E85 is only a dime a gallon cheaper than 87 octane for example.

E85 is a scam bro, when its marketed to people as saving them money.

How ever, when marketed as cheap race gas (never), it is perfect!

Yup its loads cheaper than even Turbo Blue not to mention the price of something like C16.

I think the octane level, when the volume is increased is like 105 or something close.

Yup E85 checks in around 105.
