I think it's kinda stupid to call it an SVO....there is no Special Vehicles Operations anymore. Give it an SVT badge and its own identity.

If they could somehow get the new Mustangs down to around 3000lbs with that engine, it would be a real screamer for what it is.

I'm just gonna make a prediction now that if it does happen, it'll be over priced, and then the stealerships will mark them up and they'll tank.

It would need a serious diet, a 4cyl. that has some serious kick, and some identification other than Shelby (I'm seriously fed up with his name on every stinking thing).....SVT, SVO, SVE are no longer in operation...maybe "Team Mustang"

This would be awesome. I would go for one of these when they roll around. My father has an original SVO, and it's a bad ass ride. It better have the styling cues that the original SVO had, like the offset hood scoop, and special spoiler. Also, give it a special name. When you say SVO, people know what you're talking about

My Brother in law is working on this engine program, he's is very excited about the performance of this thing, so much that he's very dissappointed that it's not going into a better looking 2010 Mustang. I think everyone will be happy with the numbers on the up coming power plant.:bigthumb

BTW, the Eco Boost Mustang has been put on hold in favor of boosting truck fuel economy the last I heard and it will be a six and not a four.

not what i heard on the GT,

and i heard the cobra is keeping a 5.4 s/c motor

i was told by a very reputable source that claimed to have 20 of them sitting inside their building along with 2 shelby's all 2010's

i was told the info is not allowed to go anywhere :(
