Cobra Officially Offered For Sale.....

I was approaced last night by my flight instructor / close friend to go in partners on a very cool $85,000 airplane. My half ...$42,500

If anyone knows anyone that wants a unbelievable deal on my car which only needs wired / plumbed / interior reinstalled ....everything already bought except a few minor things....let me know....I'd bite my tounge & take a $20K bath....

I will finish regardless... engine compartment is getting shot tuesday august 5th & after that point....everything is ready to go back in & finish

I have close to $30K in motor/trans alone....another $10K in rear/wheels/brakes/suspension....not counting the near mint 28,000 orig mile car itself & all the other expensive parts....

I admit...Im over drag racing....it dosen't replace the excitment of motocross or flying ...its more of a headache to me....i'll buy an 03 or 04 cobra as a driver in near future and be content as a mustang enthusiest that way... Sitting at kilkare in 90 degree heat for 12 hours watching the dirt & dust fly all for 4 runs just don't do anything for me

will advertise complete nationwide when turn key ready to go at higer price than 42500. if i don't get any bites...well i guess i'll keep a 700 hp 9 second street legal mustang in my garage until my grandson wants it 30 years from now....lol

Keep in mind...everything is brand new...zero runs on BES motor, G Force G5R, Fab 9 alum center section, alumastars, strange brakes....Rigid moly cage, mini tubbed,.....the list never ends... from brand new in box msd digital 7 to magna fuel pro 500 fuel pump....seems like every odd & end part has $500 to $1000 price tag..etc .this car sits in the weeds....the few of you out there that have seen know this is not your avg fox body...

Thanks Josh...You are one of maybe 3 or 4 bangerz that has actually seen it after rigid.....you, rob at rigid...a few of his guys, and a couple of my local buddies.....

Everyone thinks they can build their car better for less...:lol:

not to mention the hundreds of hours, hundreds of phone calls, chasing parts, dealing with companies that don't do what they say in the timeframe promised....(ex. g force...it literaly took 20 phone calls over 2 month period to get a $300 driveshaft yoke to my door)...craig & rob can vouch for that....which is 1 of dozens of examples..... the part that killed it for me...im over it....its never ending

thanks ray...i appreciate the positive comments...believe me im torn man...i love the car & flushing money down the toilet has never been a hobby of mine either....ive always tried to do things 100% or not fool with it all...which is why i want to focus on flying for a while...its not safe to casualy fly once a month .i've flown 3 days this week, i haven't drove my cobra since late 06'. if someone don't step up in the next month or so & and its not meant to go, then its not meant to go and it stays....still won't make it to the track but maybe a couple times a year at bigger events like bowling green...stick shift nationals..etc..time will tell:bigthumb
