en route to my folks tonight we see a red new body viper on 75N near 275 in ky. A dark color 99 body stang is in chase, and losing badly. So the viper takes 275E and the stang take 275W. We also take 275E and follow him. I ran it up to 95ish to catch and he was still 4+ bus lengths ahead. So I slow down and get off at cov/indep exit and see him. He makes a right towards independance and so do I and a 5.7 GTO which was also exiting the hwy.
The viper speeds off and the gto follows and so do I. We mess around near pioneer park and catch the light at hands pike. im in left lane, viper in right, gto behind me. The guy in viper says, "wow, that cai is pretty quick, whats done." I tell him an exhaust and tune. I say we can go on light and we do.
I pull4-5 lenghs off the start and the gto is way back. Around 65-75, the viper is catching me and starts to rocket past. The gto never pulled back:smilewinkgrin: . So I slow and allow the gto to pass as im done, I had my fun.
Moral of the long post,
0-65ish winner is me.
65ish on, winner is viper
got never gave much of a race.
Yes, I really lost, but it was fun none the less
Maybe the gto or viper guy will post something similar to this somewhere local. But it was still a blast.
