I am almost ready to paint my motor. I need a new waterpump. What are my options? I am getting most of my parts from Advance auto and just getting stuff for a 93 GT. Is there something better than a stock replacement? This will be a street car that will see drag strip time.

Maybe look in to an electric pump? Clean looking and has alot of benefits over a mechanical.

But is an electric pump going to flow enough to keep it cool in traffic on a hot summer day?

Now Keith don't tell me you won't spend $200 on a tubular K member but you'll consider $300 on a water pump.
