i just dropped my car off for waranty work to the 14th time to ford this is the 4th time for the airconditioning i'm thinking lemon law??? i wanted to save for my daughter but i could really use a truck and i need to have reliable transportation first and formost.

i'm thinking of trading it in on a f150 but my papa has has so much trouble with his 05 i'm leaning towards a new ram 1500 hemi instead

this really tears me up cause i love my car but it has become so problematic that i'd feel better driving something else and just finding another car for modding. i'd like to maybe get an new gt but i just have had so many issues with ford i don't think i'm ready to buy another one right now.

thoughts and comments welcome im really torn :(

If I had my car at the dealer 14 times, they would already have it back. I know in Texas you need some AC, I would get rid of it. There are others out there

Uhh yeah I hear ya.... My boyfriend's Roush is only just over a year old and I have gone to ford with him....4 times and it's been towed 2 times. His power control module was fucked up then his battery kept going dead for no reason and they kept saying it wasn't a bad batery. Finally they did admit it was a bad battery once we called aaa and they came and jumped it in my garage and we drove it to Ford, where it died in Ford's parking lot, then it was their problem. Just be glad that's not my car because I would be PISSED because there is no reason a car with not even 5k should have that many problems, let alone a $40,000 car! I kinda wish I would've gotten a Roush but not if I ended up having that many problems, and being afraid to drive it because it might not start!

That sucks. Sound like you need to pursue things with the dealer. You shouldn't have to take a car in that much. As for trucks, I had a 2006 F-150 XLT and I LOVED that truck! It was one of the best vehicles I've ever had. Zero problems and just a great ride. I only got rid of it because I have a long commute to work and gas prices were getting to be too much. I miss it. Good luck!!!

If you get a truck, Check out GMC, I've owned two and they have been very dependable. My current truck is a 02 GMC w/72k, I took it back once for a recall on the tail gate straps, other than that, completely trouble free.

But there is no way I would own a vehicle of any brand that I had to take back 14 times.

Trucks aren't moving? Jeez, wonder why?

You should be able to get a great deal, on a new, or slightly used truck right now. (I'm thinking about it too, just for different reasons.)

Paint that thing yellow, put some "dimples" in it and paint "lemon", all over it and park it in front of a dealer.
