I was thinking about running at Tristate sometime. How fast has people went without a chute? Can you run 155-165mph and get shutdown on strange brakes?

Depends on if you are comfy running those speeds with GRASS in between the 2 lanes.

Phil Hines has went some 8.30's before but he also has a chute.

That's not to smart without a chute. Why don't you put one on so you can stop without any issues? With the money and time you have invested I would think that would be a priority of yours. But that's just me. :)

Ya...i've been 132ish there with stock brakes....I stopped ok..but didn't have much extra room. I know Craig said he was glad to have a chute and pulled it every time when he went some 150ish passes there in the orange car.

Your trying to make improvements in the first part of the run anyway. Go run it to about 130mph and see what happens. You have run there before at that mph! (with passengers LOL)

Anything quicker than mid 13s at about 100 MPH is putting your life at risk in that dump.

Take it to the Edge or Kilkare. The track surfaces are in good shape, there is plenty of room to shut down, and the track crews have better than a 2nd grade education.
