'04 Mach1 Radiator Hose.

WTF!!

I can't find a replacement upper radiator hose, ANYWHERE!

I got one from Savage, but it was way too short. I searched a lot of sources, using the OEM number on the hose and get "no match".

I'm at wits end here. Does anyone have a clue, as to what I should do next?

Try 8260, or 8260-1. I think that is the part number (at least for 1999 & 2001 Cobras.) 8260-2 I think is for GTs of same years.

Go to a Ford Dealer.....
or try KOI they have a huge motorcraft warehouse....

Tried KOI, wrong hose. Dealers don't seem to have them either.

Try getting a hold of Randy Stinchcomb on one of the modular boards like modularmisfits.com. He either has it or can get it for you.

I think the "THERMOSTAT CONNECTOR - MACH I", was throwing me off a bit. It goes nowhere near the thermostat!

I didn't know what the "total performance package" was either, when I got the lower hose.

The hose at the top, is the stock factory hose. The one below it, is the KM4755.

Back to the drawing board.

DAMN! Sorry Jeff . . . When/If you find the right hose I think I am going to order a couple just so I don't have to go through the same hassle as you are right now . . .

And I searched on mach1registry.com and svtperformance.com to get most of the information above. I'm at a loss on what to actually search for now.

Part of the problem, is that no one has photos of the hoses.

The one pic, on Capa.com, almost looks like the Cobra hose would work. I just can't tell if it has the dip, to clear the piping from the shaker, to the air cleaner.

Well, it looks like the upper hose for the '01 Cobra, should work.

It is Gates #22449 (Motorcraft #KM3254).

It may be a week, before I can check to see if it fits right.
