Well,
I took the top off on the way home from work saturday.
Decided to go out with a few of the boys, so i go out to the car, pull out the top, pop it on the car.
Bout then the wife comes out not too happy i'm rolling out late, so, after 10 minutes of the "speech" lol. I hop in the car and take off.
Pick up a friend. No sooner do i hit the highway and get up to speed (windows are down), and all of a sudden it felt like i was getting sucked outta the car.
Top goes flying into the air. I can see it in the rearview mirror. Luckily no cars behind me, but I am not happy at all.
To my surprise, it didn't shatter, but it's completely fugged. Looking at $1000-1200 to replace it.

Same thing happen to a friend of mine. His didn't break either. He was able to use it till a new one come in. that sucks dude.

A couple of bungee cords, a little duct tape, and some shoe polish it will be good as new!
Can't say that ever has happened to a Mustang......

are you saying you didn't latch it? Because I heard there was a recall or something for those cars. Something about the roofs delaminating or something.

Not a Targa top but I did have one of my t-tops fly out going down to highway.:eek: Luckily a friend of mine had an extra set.

insurance came out $1205, $500 deductible
705 to me, i found a used clear one shipped for that, so i'll be alright
