ignition box placement

i am wanting to move my msd box into my passenger compartment on the transmission hump. how hot does an msd box get, and would i have to mount it on anything special, or just directly to the floor? thanks.

Use the rubber insulator mounts that come with it and mount it to the floor where you like.It gets hot enough to put a hurtin on ya,so take that into consideration.I can still grab mine while its hot but not for very long.Make sure you use good wire to connect it.And its always a good idea to solder connections.
