I think we are going to Tri state today. They are running from 1:00-5:00. I beleive the rain is finished. Anyone else going?

I went. It was my first time out in the car to the strip, and first time drag racing in about 3-4 years. I did fairly well. I couldn't get the car to hook, although it wasn't much surprise. I have a road course type suspension setup with 670 lb/in rear springs and -1.5 degrees camber in the rear. It was a lot of fun, and got to meet some new people. My best run was a 12.4 @ 117.

That's one cool little car...I would love to see what it would do with a drag suspension and slicks:eek:

Thanks man. I may try to borrow some ET Streets next time I go and do some back to back runs on street tires and those to see how much I pick up. I have doubts that I'll hook even with those given my stiff ass rear springs. It was nice meeting you. Wish I could have talked longer, but my wife came with me and I didn't want to leave her bored all day. :bigthumb
