Yea we got home late. I will post the time slip later, Terry is having internet issues at his place. He went a 9.20 @146 right off the trailer on 13 psi. We put a new blower belt on and didn't have it tight enough. Tightened everything down and made the same pass with no other adjustments, he went 8.85 at 155 ! Just wait until we turn it up

I was down on the big end with a friend and heard that thing coming!!! DAYYYYUUUUMMM what a sound! Rob, what was it leaking? I know on the first pass when he came up the return road and drove passed us it was leaking something. I tried to find where he was pitted to let him know but couldn't find him. Kenny it looked like when he drove by that there was a cage in it but not sure. Does he have a shute on that thing?

That GN was bad ass to! 8:38 at 17x.mph!

Congrats Terry.....you sure built a monster...and there is still more in it. Ya...that thing sounds like a supercharged DR/SSO car...it ain't quiet. Definatly time to put a shute on it.

What a RUSH! First of all Before I say anything, I would like to say THANK YOU! That goes to Rob Lewis of Rigid Race Cars and Kenny Bennett of BES.
Without these two guys help, none of this would have been possible. Rob helped me get everything ready down to the wire and get the car to the track. Friends of his, who don't even know me was willing to lend a had, Bob from FOMF and Steve for the wheelspacer. We got to the track LATE due to tire clearance issues, but we got there. The first pass I only launched the car at 70% throttle (brain fart somewhere along the line) and Kris what the car was dripping was WATER, Yeah I forgot to turn on the waterpump!:( (another brain fart) and the blower belt was not tight at all! (I know, its starting to sound like I had gas! LOL:lol:
60ft: 1.36, 1/8= 5.87@118.71, and that is where I was supposed to let out, but I couldn't it was so cleane and finished up with a 9.20@147.10

The Next pass was even better, except for the 60ft, we spun but here it goes,

60ft: 1.449
330: 3.78
1/8: 5.740@126.26mph
1000ft: 7.422
1/4: 8.858
MPH: 155.95

We haven't even hit it hard yet... we have set it up to come out nice and soft under LOW boost and haven't even touched the suspension or tune!

Awesome time man! You defiantly have the right set up. Now just get rid of those solid poly arms and set some solid adjustables under there and you should be seeing some nice mid to low 8s. It was also a pleasure meeting you and your fam yesterday!

Yes it was. We will have to exchange #'s so we all can hang out sometime.:)

Yes the "Real" suspension kit is coming this fall, when we upgrade the cage, chute, and other things.;)

Right now just playing around and seeing what it can do.

Keep in mind, there are only 5 passes on the car, three on drag radials and two on slicks. That is just simply amazing in my mind. I credit a lot of that to Rob putting the car on scales and setting it up before the track.

terry, i have a cog system for the ysi 30 tooth blower pully and a kurgan blower brace that you can borrow to see what it would really do.it was on one of bob kurgans car and it made 28-30lbs of boost:bigthumb

I have one of the braces, one that Brian Mitchell sales. THNX!;)

We was wondering why the boost was so low, we are thinking the Motor is so efficient that we cant get more than 20 or so psi out of it (Do a name search on the Corral) I posted it. We might be losing a lb or two through the intercooler also. Maybe your cogs would answer that question without a doubt. Food for thought. Kurgan on the corral ran into the same problem as he explained in the thread. Just got the car out, and the blower is TOO small! lol Time for a Big Turbo???? I will maybe put it on a wish list.

I know ysi's have gone 8.30s, so you may be outgrowing it, but there is still much more in it. You may want to try the cogs at some point. But with only 5 passes on it, it's absolutely flying, Congrats again.
