i have water leaking from the back of my waterpump, and we can't get it to stop. we pulled the pump off to put permatex on it again after the first time. and then we let it sit to tack up, but it still leaks from the backside. any ideas as to how to fix it, or anything of use at all?:lol: thanks

Could be leaking from the gasket that goes between the sheet metal back and the pump housing. I have a bunch of those gaskets laying around if you want one to try it with. Free.

First off do not use perma-tex on coolant learned that the hard way, Now what you need is something called FORD ULTRA GRAY SILICONE SEALANT, this stuff will seal anything, you will have to get it from a ford dealer though. Its great for the water pump and t-state, used it for both on mine.
