What kind of fluid do you run in and TREMAC

What kind of fluid do i need for my Tremac and how much? I need to know ASAP. So I can drive my 86 again.:D

GM Synchromesh is what will be going in my trans. I believe its 3 quarts.

I did a search and it said syncro or Dex 3. If thats the case. I have dex here at the house. Does anybody else know if DEX will work for sure?

i run dex in mine. i was told that it is the best to run by quite a few people.

You can run Dextron but Auto Zone has Pennzoil syncromesh. I ran it in my last one and it shifted smooth

I second the Pennzoil syncromesh. It's a different trans but my t-45 wouldn't shift worth a darn with Dextron in it. Switched to the Pennzoil and it was worlds better.

I run the GM synchromesh in mine.Its been on a steady diet of it for 4 years now.With ALOT of hard launches.Shifts like butter.
