anyone know how long it takes for a title to be released from probate? :confused:

can take up to a year, dads truck took 6 months after he passed away till I could get title in my name.

About 6-9 months from my experience. I could see a year though.

you can still us the vehicle with proper insurance so the lawyer told mom, but I was the only sibling in the USA.

Then again there was no one to contest the probate workings..........which means I should get a simple will done up.

the fox i want to buy..the guy who the titles name is in died..and there waiting for it to get transfered into the son's name then i can buy it...
