black. maybe if the block/heads were darker or a color, then it would look good polished, but for the grey longblock go with black.

Nice 10 hole-er in the back...lol

The car in the shadows is my coupe. We got a ton of stuff done tonight. Check my build thread for updates...

you should try a satin black. I think that would look killer with your combo. ;)

I have satin black and gloss black powder. I also just ordered some chrome that really looks more polished. I would still trade you services if you want.

with that color for the rest of the engine go with black. polished looks better on a darker block.

Dayum! That is sweet looking!

I'd go with satin black, Keith. Like everyone else is saying, on a darker engine, the polish would look good. (Lots of work, to keep nice.)

Well, I think I am going to stick with Gloss black. My chassis saver is satin black and it just has no shine to it. I need a little gloss under the hood.
MustangJon was here, that is where the polished cover came from, and he learned something. It was too funny. We put my upper intake on the motor to see how it looked and he could read the part number under the intake as a reflection in the polished cover. You all seen his polish job on his upper intake, well he only polished under about an inch. Now he has to polish even more because you will see it plain as day in the cover. I had to laugh. Sorry Jon.

That combo looks sick but I am going with a gunmetal gray body color so a little shine would look better.

satin black is the new crome  with as much work as you done might as well go all the way matched engines and engine bays go along way for making point of a build outstanding keep up the good work on the coupe :bigthumb
