This came up from a topic over on CSS, but what are you guys running with your 96-98 Cobra's and with what mods? What trap?

Also, I've seen them run mid 13's at the track stock before. What are you guys running with them bone stock??

Bone stock I would say a high thirteen. With gears and sticky tires low 13's or high 12's are possible. Jimssvt went 10's in his without a power adder on a stock shortblock.

what kinda set up???

Just will give me some clue as how fast I might go....

I've seen them bone stock on regular radials go 13.50-60's pretty consistently. With a gear and maybe a CAI on sticky tires they'll go 12's with the right driver.

Maybe he will post up but I believe he had a short runner intake, clean-up heads, a set of big comp cams, and all the other goodies. I think he was making right about 385 rwhp and I know his car is suppose to be pretty light.

I figure mine car will weigh in around 2800-2950 with me in it.....
I saw his car run with the turbo or bower set up....
I think he pulled a low 9 I was impressed...it just solidified my desire to build a mod motor and put it in the ole mav:bigthumb

Bone stock mine went a 13.52 @ 101.With just a off road x pipe it went 13.41 @ 104.The the x pipe,#'' one chamber flowmasters 275/40/17 nitto drs and a spoiler delete the car went a 12.84 @ 107 and 12.83 @ 108.Stock gear and all.

My 98 cobra. Bone stock went 13.7
on 245 45 17 street tires.
half tank gas
with spare tire
