I just got done watching it and I am not 1 bit surprised by anything. The one aspect I did not care for is how the video, at least to me, tried to put the entire blame on the democrats and federal givernment. The banks who created exotic loan options, greedy mortgage brokers, and nieve or ignorant borrowers do share some of the blame. Yes it is bad the government more or less forced them in to making questionable loans but the banks didn't exactly go in to it kickign and screaming. A lot of people took advantage of the situation and got very rich doing so.

Yes, it does somewhat lay most of the blame on the Democratic party, which is NOT totally to blame as you stated cstreau.
My reason for posting it was to show information showing that Senator Obama is not this squeaky clean guy from Chicago, but merely just another politician trying to pull the wool over our eyes with help from the main stream media.

The lenders are just as much a problem as well.

But in the end the blame falls on those who took out mortgages they cannot afford. People who rely on credit are a huge drain on this society.

Couldn't agree more. I have a very modest house that I bought @ 20. I could have bought more then and I could buy a lot more now but I am being financially responsible. These people were pwned with basic math! There are a lot of people to blame but at the end of the day if the end recipient didn't plan ahead, use a little foresight and actually think about what they were getting into, nobody is to blame but them. When you buy a new house in a new subdivision on an ARM, taxes WILL go up, rates WILL go up, you just have to figure that in! Those same people then turned around and took a second mortgage out because they had to have all the new stuff to fill their new houses. I swear, there are too many de de de's in this country! :tard: I will say, obviously there are those in this country that have had hardships due to lack of work, medical bills, etc. but those issues have been around from the dawn of time - they are not the reason the foreclosures are up so high. The problem we are seeing here is nothing more than pure greed. Greed on the part of the bank, mortgage broker, etc. but at the end of the day the blame still lies with the end recipient who buys way more house than they can afford!

Something people should also know about Obama is that when he worked for ACORN one of his first assignments was to file a suite against citibank for not making enough loans to low income familys. If you don't know waht ACORN is look them up. They are as corrucpt as the day is long

I think the most frustrating part about this is that people can't think for themselves. I think that's why people like democrats....they make the government think for them.
