Launched at 5,100 all night long..
The right lane felt pretty good... Should've raised the 2-step to 5,300 but didn't want to risk spinnin'...

The track wasn't all that busy... A good night to make some hits..
I wanted to see an 11.89 after the 11.92 run but maybe next time...

I'm curious as to why my mph is so low.. Most people in the 11.9x range are mid 112-113mph... Oh well, I'm not complainin'....:D

Your MPH is not low for those times. Most people dont have their combos as finely tuned as you do. They are not seeing their full ET potential. The grey car goes 110 and 111mph every pass.

Congratulations on your new best Curt, just for reference at 9:00 p.m. the D/A was approx 600' correcting to an 11.85 @ 112.73...............if you have the chance to run in negative D/A's providing you can hook I believe you'll eclipse the 80's and maybe a bit more. :)

I'd like to see 90mph at the 1/8 but that's close enough...

I'll tell you again even though I did last night already, congratulations that's awsome. I couldn't agree more on makeing some of us look like poo out there. I got around $2000 in my motor and my best pass all motor is a 12.49@107. But from the same perspective my car also weighs 3400LBS with me in it. So I guess for now I have an excuse and I am running a 3.73 for when I spray it.

The thing that is ringing home for me is that about 3 years ago, my 331 went 11.78 on drag radials (no tuning), and my junkyard engine is only .14 slower...

over winter, I'll get a fresh set of tires, try to lose some weight, try backing up the cam 2 or 4 degrees, think about a 4.30 gear swap, different induction pipe, ditch the tailpipes...... :rolleyes:

Nah he's just old school. He thinks that without a huge cam and huge heads and huge power you can't go 11s. He thinks you need 400hp to go 11s, and i keep telling him that in the Mustang world 400hp can get you 10s if your car is set up right.

I tried to show him a bunch of factory stock cars running deep 11s with stock cams and he just couldn't get it..lol

It's a face of complete confusion. He's the type that still can't come to grips with the idea of a 1.5 liter engine making 500hp with a turbo, and he says if it does then it's not going to last 6 months before it explodes.

He's the one with the pinkish truck that was at the cruise in. That truck will go 12s if he would just drive it harder, but instead he's on the phone with a different cam company every day trying to find out what the best cam would be to get him there. He's only .2 away from 12s and he's dead set that he won't get there without a cam.

I actually don't have any video myself but I know there is video footage out there...

My buddy with a silver 00' Camaro SS was having his girlfriend video him and I *think* she video'd me.. said she would anyway...

And another guy down there with a navy blue coupe, black hood, said his buddy would get me on video but I never went back up to the lanes after my last pass... I'm hoping I see them this Friday or at the UMTR race....

I gotta get some practice runs in on Friday for the umtr race the following day... My old age is reflecting in my reaction times.... :D
