ok so I put my motor in and realized i should have replaced the oil pan gasket, I have everything plugged in, except the tranny isnt in, is there anyway I can chang it without pulling te motor back out?

Yea, it is very simple. If you have the ability to jack the motor up it makes it a ton easier also.

Its do-able.Just time consuming.Also,remove the sterring rack.It free's up some space.

alright I have a lift, should i take off my left long tube so [I] dont have to take out my steering shaft.

Can you reach the bolt for the steering shaft from underneath.That way you could probly squeeze it between the tubes without takin them off and just move the rack a little out of the way.I just took the shaft bolt out and the two mount bolts and moved it.I left the tie rod ends on.

yea I can do that, i just took the bolt out of my shaft, seperated it and got the motor up enough, soon as it stops raining i will try to replace it. mise well put my new pan on to, cant belive i didnt do it b-4 hand.. had a brain fart i guess.

If you can get the motor high enough you can slip it out.But you might have to take the oil pump off then you should have enough clearence to slip the pan off with the pump in the front sump.Ive done three oil pumps with the pan sittin on the K-member and just workin around it.
