Neon broke out, was hard on the brakes...but not enough!!!!!

I did notice quite a few (5-6) perfect .000 lights tonight. The CRX buckled under pressure (only 20 passes on the car) and redlit (-.074) against the blown small block 56 Chevy. He still manage a personal best 12.399 @ 111 mph, 1.776 60 foot in the tower lane after SOMEONE put Royal Purple SYnchromesh down in the pit lane :)

Good night for racing, good people all around, I'm feeling that itch again to get back into drag racing :)

Congrats curt!

I've seen that Triumph before a couple of years back and I thought it was amazing for it to turn low 13's. It was sweet to watch that car last night pull 11's.

Congrats Curt, Like Ponymom said its great when the good guy wins!!!

Good job kids. lol ;)

I had a string of terrible luck this weekend. Im glad the racing is done for a while.
Broke the car two days in a row, found a flat trailer tire as I went to leave and ran out of fuel looking for a gas station after we left the track. Did'nt get home till close to 5am.
wow that sucked!!!

Yeah, but all's well that ends well. We all made it home safely, Craig came in from his trip to Burlington not long after I did (tells me he drives too fast). No one hurt and we're all in good health. I'd say it was a good night, all-in-all. Now the winter work can begin. Garage is ready and waiting!! Can't wait to see the points standings.

Thanks everyone!

Sounds like you had a rough time Matt...
Running out of fuel is never fun....

I'm curious to see where I'm at in the points too....
I'll be happy if I'm in the top 10.... ;)

I can't believe I made 9 passes (including 2 time runs)....
It's turning into a track wh*re...

Curt is one shifting bonesmoker. He gave me a ride last week in exchange for a ride in m y car with a couple of 150 hits. And when we got on the entrance ramp and he started cracking gears I couldn't help but laugh because it looked like a little kid in an arcade room playing a driving game just pressing pedals and moving the shifter back and forth.

Hey J5!

Thanks for the vote of confidence.....

If I can step up my game on the tree, it should be
VERY interesting for 2009... ;)
