A question for the UMTR Racers:

How do you feel about having a flash photo taken as you launch? Distracting? Don't care? Makes you think your car just exploded?

Never bothered me. If the driver is focused, he/she wont even notice it.

Yeah, When I was able to still run the test and tunes in the black car as long as I saw the person standing there beside the track BEFORE I focused and launched... didn't bother me a bit. If I wasnt expecting it and saw it out of the corner of my eye it MIGHT distract me. But I'm sure most of the guys are staring at the tree anyway :D

Might be ok for heads up, but in bracket style taking a pic of the slower car may distract the faster car.

wouldnt bother me at all im only focused on the tree and slamming it when that bright yellow light comes on so i dont float a valve.

Wouldn't bother me at all. Like some of the other guys said if your focused on the tree and the track you wouldn't even notice it. Hell at pinks all out there was tons of flashes going off and video camera's in your face. Never seemed to bug anyone though. I say go for it Dave.
