Jake, I do believe those 2 are different blocks altogether.

The cleveland was a cross-breed between a big block and a small block but it had the small block windsor style motor mount locations and the bellhousing bolt pattern.

And the windsor motors have coolant running through the intake and heads, where the cleveland has no coolant thru the intake and possibly the heads as well.

I know that Ford used the Canted-Valve 351 4v heads on the Boss 302, but I think there was some "massaging" involved to make that work.

There is info in the back of the frpp catalog on this, but I believe it deals w/ clevland heads on a windsor.

You would want to use 4V heads on a windsor block for the canted heads. The cleveland heads had 2.19" intake and 1.7" exhaust valve's.But only in the 4V.The 2V had 2.05" and 1.65" valve's.They have the same head bolt pattern as windsor heads, and will bolt to a cleveland block with no machining.

cleavland 351 block is 9.2 deck height so you will need a different intake and maybe headers. Edelbrock makes 9.2 deck intakes

i've heard of guys putting cleveland heads on a windsor block but not other way around, actually edlebrock is selling a setup now they call the "clevor" its heads and intake that will match up, cleveland style that is to a windsor block.

I believe the water jackets are somewhat different also.

It might be easier and cheaper to just bolt on a set of Cleveland heads.

I would use the 2V heads if it's a street car, 4V heads if it's street/strip. The 4V heads have huge ports and closed combustion chambers, the 2V heads will keep your port velocity up for a street car.
