How does the headliner come out?

I know one has to take the quarter panel interior pieces off (which is already done),take the a-pillar panels off..easy enough.. and undo some wiring, but Ford mentions to use an adhesive when putting it back in. Is that just for replacing the fabric to the fiber board..or is that actually how it is held to the ceiling of the car?

So is it glued in place or not?

I herd they use a spam like substance to adhere that to the roof.

It is glued. I started to take mine down when I did the dynamat, but that SOB was glued to the roof skin like there's no tomorrow. The glue is rock hard too. I couldn't see any way of getting it loose w/o warping or bending the roof skin, so I just left well enough alone.

I stripped out my whole interior and put it all back, so if you have any questions, just ask.

BTW, I assume you mean B/C pillar? There's no need to take anything off to get the A-pillar covers off. They just pop off by themselves.
