Guys I need some help. A national forum that I am staff on, is going to have our annual Buckeye Brawl in 09. The problem we were informed that Norwalk (where we had the first 2) is unavailable. This will be in April/May. I am looking into all the local 1/4 mile tracks for a substitute. We are anticipating 30 cars. Any of the local tracks you would or would NOT recommend on similar experiences with a private rental?
Thanks

I don't think Tristate does rentals anymore. I am pretty sure Kilkare does and they will rent it out on a Sunday which is nice. I am not sure about Edgewater though.

Thanks with the info so far guys. The track needs to be in OH to keep it the Buckeye Brawl. We are looking at Thompson and 42. Keep the info coming.

Marion County Int'l. Raceway. ODRA had a shootout there a few years ago. And those cars weren't exactly slow either...

No prob. Track usually sits idle on Sundays, unless the Friday / Saturday events get rained out.

Kilkare would be a good choice, if any of your friends are emt's, that can save you a buch of money on rental. You may want to contact 89notch, he is a emt.

Yep we provided our own paramedics and they gave us a price break but I dont think thats something they usually do. NHRA requires them to have Firefighter/EMts that are trainded for race car extracations. I do know a few people that work at Kilkare as medics that may help out another firefighter.

anything with more then 400rwhp will have problems sticking the now use coke syrup as traction compund and the shutdown is short and scary. i would call national trails
