probably a tenth and a mph at most. It may free up 7-8 hp. I run a electric wp more for the ability to cool the car down quicker in the pits between passes.

I'm sure this is a really stupid question, but can you run the electric water pump with the car off? How does it cool the car down quicker if there isn't any air moving through the radiator?

You also use and run an electric fan at the same time. I also run a 160 degree thermostat with a few holes drilled in it around the outer edge to allow more water flow.
