View Full Version : 100 shot with a dry kit

if my car runs 12.30's on motor what should it go on a little 100 shot? I am thinking about putting it on for this saturday. My car went a 12.17 this past weekend but that was with the belt off.

There's a lot of variables there but if I had to guess probably around 11.60's.

I think he went to a NX kit.Thats what I have in the coupe.

That would be wrong Jesse. It's only a 150 shot that I have in there. But that is soon to change.

Screw that dry kit I had. Just to give you an idea where I was with the dry kit to where I am now. On a 125 Dry shot the car put down 339RWHP and 408RWTQ. On a 150 wet I put down 387RWHP and 496RWTQ

Oh yeah i know they arent what they cracked up to be. I am making some major engine changes, I'll see how it runs on motor next spring then go for the nx wet kit.

n/x wet shark nozzle is what i have on mine. stock blk 10.77@123 on a 200shot.
the zex kit is a little low on power but it does work ok.

over 60bottles and counting on the ol Black Sunshine. 160,000 miles !!! Low 12's on a stock motor... Not to bad for a dry kit and a turd small block. lol 125 shot.
Heck, I dont even have control arms yet...lol

You can make your car run in the 11.0 range you just need to under stand how to use your kit;)

on my 125 dry zex kit with a little over half a bottle, i gained exactly a 100hp on the dyno to the wheels and a 135 torque

I made 360hp to the wheels with 434tq

with my NX plate on a 100 shot I made 100hp over stock.

tuned it was 346hp and 434tq.

Wet kit ftw.

wish i had some tires to actually see what it could run. Never took the time to get any.
