I have an old Torquer twister in good shape. It's the one where the carbuerator is twisted I beleive slightly clockwise. Had one on my 83 GT and it worked great. This one is from a buddies 68' GT. I'll take $50.00. Call Justin 937-564-8432 I will get pics up soon. Thanks

Some pics. Sorry it took so long. The actual name on the intake is "torquer 289" but I always heard people call them torquer twister.

That's a good intake, I ran one years ago on a 66 mustang coupe. performed great over the performer 289

Jesse, i do still have my Stealth so if i don't get another Victor Jr. i'm sticking with that. I wouldn't mind having this one, i mainly just wanted to see pics because i'd never seen one before.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong but wasn't the point behind the twisted/slanted intakes to counter syntrithical (however you spell that) force on dirt/circle track cars? I just read about a Wilson spacer that tilts and twists the carb so that when the car is going around the circle, and the driver's side is constantly pulling upwards, the fuel bowls are still level because of how the carb is twisted. Sound right?

Makes sense, However i ran one on the street and i knew someone else who ran one years ago. Also Mopar had a factory intake like that as well.

Centrifical force?

Hush, i was tired

I guess the same principal about the engine lifting and twisting to the right would be beneficial to drag racing or a hot street car.
