I need more tech help with these ford motors. I pulled the stock pressed in studs so I could put some screw in studs in. I look for the studs and All I saw were 7/16 studs. WTF!?? I bought a set of 3/8 roller rockers on clearance from Ohio Crank. I figured there had to be sbf 3/8 studs. I guess I can just use the 3/8 studs for chevy??
Also what is the difference in volume in the combustion chamber between a 351 head and a 302 head? I want to use the 351 heads on my 302 because they are not smog heads and I have done some porting on them.
Thanks.

the heads are the same except 351w has bigger head bolt holes. Use stepped washers.

The part that screws into the head is 7/16". The stud the rocker goes on can either be 3/8" or 7/16"

I originally thought that, but when I looked for 3/8 studs all that is listed was the 7/16. Everything is so much easier to find when building a chevy. Any time I hit a hiccup like this it makes me appreciate the views of all those who are sick of chevy this and chevy that. I've just begun to scratch the surface of Ford windsor engines and this shtuff is frustrating.
