Auto tranny out of a 92' 4 banger

Out of a 92 Mustang with 78,000 miles $250.00 Call Justin 937-564-8432 These were behind mustangs, rangers and the like with 2.3, 2.8, 2.9 and 3.0 v6's and 4 bangs. The 4.0 on the other hand used this tranny with a bigger input shaft so it will not fit. It fits all 87-93 mustangs and all 85-94 rangers not sure what else but I would say explorers for sure. I asked my tranny guy and he said they charge 1400.00 for a rebuild. I also searched the net to find prices of 1100-1800.00. So at 250.00 with the miles it has is great. It is already out and wrapped in plastic and ready to load. Thanks!

4.0's don't have a larger input shaft. Late model years used a 10 inch length input shaft, early units were 9&3/4. The input shaft can be interchanged with no problems. I suggest the 10 inch shaft on any application. Alan

Thanks for the correction. I don't know, I just copied some info from the net to widen the amount of people who might be able to use this. Hate to scrap it someone has to need one somewhere.
