OK gang here it is. The fate of QS is in YOUR hands! I will run the class either way, majority rules! This is your chance to tell us how you want to race. I will be posting this poll on OSM, Yellow Bullet and Stang Bangerz. You will have until next Saturday to get your vote in. Duplicate votes from different boards will be noted, but not counted. You've got opinions, we're listening, make it count!

*Fine Print*
This is not a vote on what the rules will be, just on the general format of the class.

Happy Voting!

Will it be 1/8 or 1/4 mile?

Either way Open Comp for me...if not I'll probably give the 7.50 class a shot.

Oh, okay then, let me ask you this.

How many of those folks, that are voting, will actually come and race, in whatever category they vote for? I can see guys from OSM forums, being more likely to attend some races, but most of those guys are running a heads-up class. I don't have a clue, about YB, but the same question goes.

I guess my point is, this is not a very "scientific" poll. I think the people that are most likely to race in these events, should carry the most weight.

As for myself, I'm hoping to run 7.50 and/or OC (hint, hint). ;)

I'm glad to see the series, will be closer to home (i.e. no trailer). I just want to see it go the way that the people running in it, will be the happiest with!

Keep up the good work Kelly, I for one, am behind ya!

What do you think will draw the most spectators?

Honestly, its a toss up when it comes to a class like this. We'll have 7 classes next year, and i think they will all draw the spectators as a group. I think the car count will be higher if we open it up to OC, which in turn will bring more spectators. (more people coming to see their buddies race)

I love the idea of the heads up rules, but my concern is that most people arent understanding them, or they feel it will be "easy" to sandbag and pull off a win. And if thats the case, for whatever reason, people will not show to run the class when they think they dont have a prayer. So thats why i put it to a vote to gauge what people would be more interested in running. I gues my answer to your question would be OC after all that babbling hehe.

so what is the voting looking like on the other sites so far??

Kelly Pelrine

Counting all votes its 24-22 in favor of heads up. Although there are a few voters who voted heads up that i know will not be racing the class. Just waiting to see how it ends up.

Heads up is in the lead 25-22

Out of the heads up votes i see 9 names that are planning on running other classes in OSM and are considered to be "padding" the vote.

Out of the OC votes i see 1 name that could be considered to be "padding" the vote.

Subtract those votes and OC is in the lead 21-16

I thought of another point, Kelly.

If you do the HU, you limit yourself to the number of cars, that qualify.

OC would be all run.
