View Full Version : The new Garage is coming along (couple of pics)

Finally got all the junk organized in the house or moved to the basement. So the garage can be used for it's actual purpose.
It's getting there. Still need to figure out what to do for a work bench and cabinet.
But it works for now. It will defiantly be tweaked along the way.

I used my mom's cabinets from her house when she got new ones.. I built a base to raise them 3 1/2" up ( I'm 6' 5") so I wouldn't have to bend to work on stuff.. I painted them flat black, And used 2"x6" for the top, I also used all of the top cabinets in a line along the top. They work out great, and if you look around you can get a whole set of cabinets for almost nothing, And then have almost an infinite amount of options as to placement.. Just some food for thought..
I'll try to get some pics of them later..

^ lol. While at lowes over the weekend, I noticed they have some nice cabinets that would normally be used in a washer/dryer application, for a really good price.

the gladiator series at lowes are nice cabnets and they have work bench setup also, or he could just stop by sears they carry the same brand and more.
