Just seeing if any of you would be interested in going to Perfect North in Lawrenceburg, IN sometime this winter. Me and my boyfriend were going to try to get a big group together and get the discount rate. We need 15 people, which shouldn’t be too hard to do. You can bring your significant other or kids, whatever! The only thing is you have to arrive as a group together in order to get the discount rate.

I went there with him for the first time last year and it was a ton of fun (also the 1st time I had been skiing). :cool2:

You can get on their website at http://www.perfectnorth.com/index.php and the discount rates are below:

GROUP PRICING INFORMATION:
Group Lift Ticket valid any day, up to 8 consecutive hours, time starts when you do. New beginner group lessons (skiing or snowboarding) are included at no additional charge.
8 Hour Admission Ticket: Sun-Thu before 5:30pm || Fri-Sat before 9:00pm
Group Size Bonus Admission Ticket Rental Beginner Lesson
15-40 1 $32 $16 FREE
41-99 2 $30 $16 FREE
100+ 3 $28 $13 FREE
Ages 6 & Under - FREE Lift Ticket
Rental Price Includes tax.

We can figure out a day that would be good as the time approaches.

Let me know if anyone is at all interested, so I know if I am wasting my time trying to get this together….

I have a season pass and there just about every weekend and quite frequently during the week. I won't be much good for getting enough for the discount but I will probably be there anyway.

Cool! I really liked it and could really see us skiing more often if there were slopes a bit closer.... or if I lived up north. Lawrenceburg is a hike, but we were going to try to go a time or 2. It just gets expensive if you don't live close or have a pass.

Anybody? :)

I make the drive once or twice a week. Before I got married, when I was living at my parents in Alexandria, it was probably more like 3 to 4 times a week.

Thanks for sending me that site. And you are crazy! I live right by Alexandria now.... and am unmarried. I hate driving long distances. Lucky for me, school has always been 2-10 minutes away, and work no more than 15 minutes. So 45 minutes to ski seems like halfway across the world to me. That's cool though, it's a cool hobby to have.

It use to take me about 40 min. from my mom and dad's. I spend hald my life in my car so an hour 75 min. drive now sucks but I am use to it.

I'll be up there a few times this winter. Every year Toyota dealerships give away tickets for "scion madness." I have an in at a local dealership and can ussaully get a handful of tickets without haggling a salesmen and testdriving a crap box. You can ski till 2am for free. Ill post up when the event rolls around.

Hmmm, I'll think about this. I've never ski'ed or some anything like that. I have done the tubing, and that was some stuff

I was talking to stacey last night and I think we were going to try to get to perfect north within a few weeks. Anyone interested?

I can't ski, but I wouldn't mind going tubing. It's gonna have to warm up though, the last time we went (there were a gang of us, I know Brenda was there), it was so flippin cold. I said, never - ever again when it's this cold. It was miserable.

I think we are going to try to go Feb 13,14, or 15. If we can get 15 people to go it will be $48/person and includes a beginner lesson free, instead of the $66/person regular price. Let me or stacey know if anyone is interested, so far we have 4 people for sure interested

A "woo-woo" warm up? I remember that night, it was a blast!

I just went this past weekend, it wasnt to bad. I think as long as it is 30 degrees or higher and you bundle up , its enjoyable.

I think we are going to plan on 100% for sure go on Sunday Feb 15 since the 14th is valentines day... Just post up if you think you will be interested in going on that day. We are thinking of going around 10 or 11, so we will all need to arrive there at the same time.

We have 5 people for sure, so if we can get 10 more it will be a ton cheaper to go.

Thanks guys.

lol Idk... I just figured people would have "Vday" plans and not want to be skiing...

Are those of you interested more for Sat the 14th (Vday) or Sun the 15th?

We are up for either day.

I think the overnight (1am) skiing is more fun for groups. JMO. Plus I don't have to work on sat. night I do on sun.

I am there almost every weekend.

Same here, I have a silver pass, but I just sit in the audition terrain park and do the rails/jumps.
