Treadmill wanted

I am looking for a treadmill to buy. I know people buy these things, then they sit in their basement and collect dust. Does anybody have one they want to sell? I found one on Craig's List, with an incline, $175. Seems kinda high, but they said to come and look at it and we'd discuss the price.

Just thought I'd check here first, anybody want to get rid of one they are not using? :confused:

I need exercise and I can't walk up and down my street, no sidewalks, speed limit is 35 but people go 55, and there's no where to jump but the ditch. Heck with that, I'll run in my basement.

No big deal if no one has one, I'll go back to Craig's List and find something.

My friend Andy found one in the garbage and brought it over for us. Surprisingly it works very well, and Teresa LOVES it. She uses it at least 4-5 x a week.

My point I guess, is that even the cheapie ones on Craigslist might work ok for you. There isn't much that's fancy about this one. It's got variable speed and variable incline and that's about it. I thought I broke it a couple of weeks ago, and it looks like comparable models are around $100 on Craigslist if nobody here has one.

I love my treadmill. I would suggest checking a couple out in stores and then looking for those or similar treadmills. I discovered a HUGE difference between super cheap ones(under $200) and above. I believe mine was around $600 and I got it for $175-$200 used. It is just great. You want to make sure it has the right amount of cushion so you don't tear up your knees. ;)
