alright guys well i bought a 3550 TKO and i need to buy different clutch due to the 26 spline input shaft....i have a t-5 in my car right now with a centerforce II that is barely even used...i figured i could just buy the 26 spline clutch disc and put it in there with the old pressure plate....but i went on jegs and they have two different pressure plates....one for a aftermarket 26 spline input shaft and one for 10 spline.....just wondering if i have to buy the 26 spline pressure plate because i didnt really want to spend all that money on a brand new plate and disc again....i didnt think there would be a difference in the pressure plate but i guess i was wrong???....any help will be great...thanks

I just put a pro-motion disc with my kingcobra pressure plate with the g-force trans I bought for the flamer...go to promotionpowertrain.com and look at his clutch page then give Walt a call.

You can just buy a 26 spline disc from centerforce. I think they are around $140.

the 26 spline disc centerforce II clutch disc is 90 bucks...but my question is...on jegs they have a centerforce II pressure plate for 10 spline which is what i have now...and then below that they have a centerforce II pressure plate for 26 spline and its like twenty dollars more....which makes me think there is something different about them...but all i want to do is switch the clutch disc for the 26 spline but they are makin it seem like u need the pressure plate for the 26 spline or something...its kinda confusing
