Can anyone tell me how to properly adjust the tv cable on a AOD tranny? And how do I know if it's adjusted right or not. I have the slightest clue about anything with these transmissions.

You want about 1/4" pull on the cable at idle, And the cable to be fully extended at WOT.. A little more on the idle side will give a little firmer and later shifts ( But don't get crazy.. LOL)
If you just Google AOD TV Cable Adjustment. You will find tons of info.. I use a factory cable hooked to a Holley Carb, And adjust mine by the shift/feel of the tranny..

The technical way is to use a pressure gauge, but I have always done as the previous poster says. The main concern is that the TV cable is fully extended at WOT. I have always done it that way and everything has been fine.
