Anyone know where you get vacum from for the EGR valve on a foxbody. Do you hook a vacum line up to the manifold to get vacum for it or the vacum tree?

On my car, there is a vacuum coupler over on the passenger side of the firewall, near where the reciever/drier goes for the A/C system.Thats where the EGR gets the vacuum from. But pretty much any vacuum source would work.

Well I dont have any open ports over there for any vacum. I have a couple options here. I have a block off plate for the EGR that I can put on and deal with the bright ass check engine light until I get a chip for her car or I have a EGR that I can throw on it and just hook up the plug on it and leave the vacum part of it alone. I just figured I would do it right but if it's not going to hurt anything then I wont bother with the vacum on it.

Just pull all that crap off Steve!:D Disassemble the valve and hold the pin closed with a zip tie, tuck it behind the motor...problem solved.
