Well I haven't taken any photos but Jesse(stangman) has. I' will have to have him post them up. Back in May I bought a rolling chasis from a guy in Bethel. It was sleeper5oh's car at one point and time. I started working on this back in November and I just about have it finished. The car is a 87 LX that is black with some flames and skulls down the sides and the hood and front bumper. Plated painted the car awhile back ago. The car has boxed uppers and solid lowers on it. Subframes and a driveshaft loop as well. I picked up a explorer motor for it and stripped it down. The block and heads have been painted Ford grey. I sand blasted the lower intake and cleared it. I glass beaded the upper and used metalcast on it and cleared it as well. I put a stock cam in it and just 1.6 rockers for now. I got rid of all the stock brackets for the alt/power steering pump and went with March performance brackets. I bought a mass air conversion kit and coverted it from speed density to mass air. The wife doesn't know how to drive a stick and has no interest in learning so I put an AOD behind it with just a stock converter. The car has a 3.73 gear and still has the foxbody axles. She says she wants to race next season a few times but I have a sneaky suspicion that she is going to get hooked just like I did. So I know that means in the near future probably a bigger stall and more gear. But thats down the road. So to sum up the motor, its an explorer motor with gt40p heads, gt40 upper and lower, 70mm TB, Mac CAI, 73mm C&L mass air, A9P ECU, 19LB injectors, stock cam, BBK AFPR, Ford Racing GT40P specific headers, Mac H pipe, flowmasters dumped. I should be able to start this thing tonight if all goes well. I had plans to fire it up last night but when I went to drop the radiator in, I realized it had no draincock. Always something everynight. I am picking one up today. The only other thing I still need to get to have it rolling down the street is tires. The car has 16" pony's on it and I haven't decided yet on what to go with as far as tires go.
I will try to take some photos tonight and get them posted up as well as Jesse's photos.

It's called money. Which I'll be the first to admit I have no concept of. But she does. Now Jesse you know good and well if this was mine it wouldn't have the wussy tires on there. She wants to be able to rotate the tire's and I think the other ones will be too much on the front and rear. Not too mention she is getting 4 of the 225/55/16 brand new Kumho tires 80,000 mile mounted and balanced and a alignment for 340.63 out the door at Brown county automotive.

The cheesy chrome ones on there are temporary for now. She is going to get the Black satin Mustang powered by Ford ones within the next few weeks.

No bottle for this one. I am keeping it simple. I think with a set of drag radials it should run 14's. Not sure how much that stock converter is going to hold it back though but I have a sneaky suspicion that its going to be quite a bit.

Tire rotation means burn the ones on the back then get new ones. LOL

Bob the model # is 30035-09. On her car I had to use a 665 or 66 1/2 inch belt. I beleive on my car it was a 67 I used.

Well the car hit the road this past weekend and it runs great. The car definitely needs a gear. Right now it only has a 2.73 in it. I need some opinions on what gear to go with hear. It's between a 3.73 or a 4.10. The tranny is an AOD with a stock converter. She plans to run at the track on occassion but the car will spend more time on the hywy. The wheels on there are absolutely nasty because someone never took car of them. So yestarday I got a wild hair up my ___ and went and bought some wheel paint. Here is some pics I took. I did 2 wheels last night and plan to do the other 2 tonight. Here's a picture of the motor completed. The plug wires and valve covers are temporary for now. They will be changed here in the near future.

Well I painted the other two wheels last night and plan to mount them back on the car this evening. I went to Mustangboy's(Kenny) today to pick up her valve covers. I think they will look sharp when I get them on tonight. The only other things I have left to do is run speaker wires from the rear speakers and install the radio. I picked up some plug wire looms to clean the wires up. I am undecided on painting the bars that go across the front of the intake black. What's everyone else think?
Here's a pic of the valve covers that Kenny took

Then the excess paint oughta wipe off pretty easy if you get sloppy! just use a narrow detail brush Cracka!

I've been hinting that we should find a spot in the barn for that poor little thing ;)

I've got big plans for that car :D

Curt won't know what hit him:flipoff:

BTW, I still have those side ground effects, and they are perfect if you still want them...
