I realize that this is not a very easy to do swap, but I would like the input of anyone experienced with this sort of thing.

I want to do it. A friend of mine has a carbed 351w in a 1999 V6 shell, so I know it's possible (was a running, driving V6).

I want to do a Fuel Injected Swap. I realize that there are going to be a lot of differences in electronics and fuel systems. I can get a full 1989 Wiring harness and an A9L ecu. Swap Headers. So, I think I have everything I will need there. I also understand that the power windows, locks, and seats will still work without the EECV ECU.

I will need the K-member out of a 5.0 car, the motor mounts out of one as well. I have a Kaenen 4" Cowl hood, so that is taken care of. I will also need a clutch cable, and a throttle cable. I think I have everything or know of everything I need to make the front end part work. From the ECU to the A/C.

Now, I know I will also need a T-5 style transmission, I have a Bell Housing from a 5.0 already, so I only need the gearbox there. I assume a driveshaft from a 1994-1995 GT will suffice also.

My biggest issue is fuel system. How will I make that work? Can I use my stock fuel pump? Do I need to get a system from a 1994-1995 and swap the entire thing out? I am completely lost there? I appreciate any experienced, or knowledgeable input, as I have searched for a few weeks and really not found any satisfactory answers.

If anyone knows of anything on the front end that I may have missed, please let me know. I really want to make this happen early spring, as I can get most major parts on notice.

As of now, the engine is a 351w out of a 1994 F150, with all accessories. Firing order should be the same as a 5.0 from a 1988-1995 Mustang.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide, and I know this is going to be difficult, I need support, not criticism.

Man prolly going to be alot of money I would go for a tubular kmember to swap in that insted of a stock one. As far as fuel someone else will prolly need to chime in Im sure in 99 was when for went to non return style system where as 98 back on Mustangs where return style. So not to sure on what you would have to swap fuel wise. Im sure it can be done but would be easier going carb.

Well, this sounds like a pretty cool project. I think fuel pump issue could be easily addressed using an older tank as you mentioned with the return style pump put into it and the extra lines ran back to the tank. If you found a wrecked 94/95 car it would be the easiest route to go imho. You will need to swap the intake on that windsor out with something more performance oriented. I would think a trick flow or edelbrock unit would be a good idea. I have a lot of parts that would probably help you out.

I have performance plans, believe me, but I want to get the engine in, and running to begin with. I have even though of just doing a 5.0 swap, and then changing out blocks down the road once I knew I could get it working.

You will probably want the wiring from a 94-95 GT to make it easier. The 99-04 cars are pretty similar to the 94-98 cars under the skin so its relatively straigh forward. It just takes time and money.
