Does anyone know what it would cost to have someone do a mini tub on a 93 lx vert? Also on a mini do you have to move the gas tank? I dont have the tools or the know how but always wanted to have this done on one of my fox cars.

I could be wrong, but I think the only way you can mini tub a vert is to make the top no longer functional.

Because of all the bracing in that area. It may be possible, but much more difficult. Heres a pic of Lou Proto's car, though it's probably more serious than what you plan to do, you can see some of what had to be removed to do the tubs.

I see. I really wasnt thinking about twisting the body. I have the ties and the frame is all pretty much tied together, but your right, thats more than I want to do. What do you think is the widest tire I can go with without causing a problem. Its built and I will do a little more, but its no wheelie car..

It's a pain in the ass but you should be able to mini tub it and still keep a functional top. I know it can be done on the sn95s but not sure on a fox. Swing down to Cincy speed and we can take a look at it and give you a quote.

This guy does a hell of a job on mini tubbing. I seen his car wednesday.I'm sure he could get you covered.

yeah we hung out for like an hour bullshittin his car is gonna fly and he did a good job on the mini tub
