i had three of the rental videos, one of paul jumping through a fire, and one of Vinny pointing out the handlebars. but they have long since been gone :( as far as memories go, its hard to centralize on just one when (even though i didnt know him as well as most of the other long time members did) every time i saw him, i came away with a story and a smile.

i DO remember going to Cincy Speed to pick up some parts, showing Vinny my car, and he looks in the engine compartment, points to the shiny plastic "heat shield" on my air filter, and says, "what the hell is thaaaat?!" and i hesitantly say, "its a heat shield..." so he looks back at me, smacks me in the back of the head and says, "No, that would be a RESTRICTION!! take it off...NOW!"

i can honestly say, that was the last "ricer" part i put on anything, EVER

That video is halarious! I don't think I've seen that one before. I'll never forget when me and Metcalf showed up at the spring cruise in and Vinny pointed both of us out during his speech for being the trouble makers on the board, but none the less he said we were still his buddies from Middletown. Seems like yesterday I was on here argueing with him and trying to light a fire under his a$$ to get his car done cause I wanted to race him. I knew I didn't have a shot in hell at beating TT but I thought maybe it'd push him to get it done a little faster. He was helluva guy and definitely fun to be around and will never be forgotten..

Brian and I thought about Vinny a lot today. If it hadn't been for Vinny setting up this website, we probably never would have met at that cruise in four years ago. Vinny will always have a special place in our hearts.
