I had a Rear-seat delete sold it last year. I want another one but dont wanna buy it. does anyone know how to make them? or what kinda wood or any info would help thanks!

easy.
Just get some cardboard to make a template. cut the wood cover it in carpet then add your components to keep it in place. Whether those be a new setup or the clips from your factory seat.

I think 3/4" plate steel would work best.

I agree, but don't forget the lead liner to insulate the sound and vibration.

You can't just have plate steel for the back seat, you need to cover that with oak, then leather.

A few pics of mine. I made a cardboard template and transferred it to 7/16 OSB. I'm going to change it to 1/4 OSB to shed a few pounds.

Oh, I prefer to cover mine with carpet instead of lead, leather and oak !
