EVeryone please welcome Matt Schoettinger back to Dayton Performance Motorsports! Matt will be assuming the duties of shop manager which entails assigning work and monitoring the progress of the jobs in the shop. He will also be the go to guy for tech and progress reports. His job is to ensure prompt, curtious service.
Matt comes to us with an extensive background in motorsports from drag racing to road course. He began as a tech at Dayton Tire and progressed to Southpaw Racing where they campaigned Mazda RX8's in the Grand American cup series. He moved on to Unitech racing where they campaigned Nissan 350Z's under Playboy banner in the Rolex Sports Car series. He also has gone 4.78 in the 1/8 in his dragster and has also owned mustangs and helped with my racing program in the past. A graduate of Sinclair's high performance engine program, he brings to the table an extensive background of high performance.
