I'm trying to figure out wheither or not i should go to mechanical solid roller for the cam setup.
i've been hearing from different sides about the good and bad things about solid rollers
on one side i've been hearing: that you can absolutly cannot run a solid roller on the street, and it wouldnt even make it 40miles cruising. no matter what the lift and seat pressure of the springs.
on the other side: As long as lift is below .700 (which the lift will be below .650 (.621/.627 actually for nitrous)) that will keep the seat pressure's low and would have no problem making longer distance cruises.
I'm building a motor that will eventually see a mild dose of nitrous. My plan is to run it on motor for most of this year then after its all dialed in, put small increments of nitrous leading up to the maximum i planned to spray of a 200.
I just want some other people's opinion's on this.
