Didnt know where to post? I am curious to see what it might take to put a stock hood back on my coupe. I have i think a 2.5 inch pin on cowl rite now. I dont like it bcause number 1 the dang thing waves to ya as you go down the track, in fear of it ripping off the car, also it is a pin on and its a PIA to take on and off all the time. Also, i was growing tired of the cowl look. Thought id be different by getting my windsor with a trick flow 351 r intake to fit under a stock hood. I know rich is running a stock hood i believe..... Do i have to buy some vert drop mounts and get my lower milled to bring it closer to the engine? Also how much of a weight factor would i have on a stock hood lol i bet a lot!! Just basically want something more stockish, with the security of a old fashioned latch?? What do you guys think?
